About Me
Growing up, I always wanted to be a professional baseball player. I worked hard at it every single day. If I wasn't playing baseball, I was thinking about baseball. After years of hard work, it was hard for me to come to the realization that baseball wasn't going to be my end goal. The older I got, it became apparent that I was going to have to find something else I was passionate about.
It wasn't until I move to Colorado that I realized my true passion was photography. The funny thing is, it all started with my iPhone X. I would go around Colorado Springs taking iPhone pictures of anything I thought looked relatively cool. Working on finding the right angles. Working on my editing skills. Trying to find my "style".
I was always hesitant to put my work out into the world. I would show friends and family, and they would always say that my photos were great. But isn't that what they are supposed to say? My imposter syndrome kicked in really quick.
One day when scrolling through my iPhone photos, I decided to put my name out there and see if people actually liked my photos. I created a Pexels account and added around 20 of my favorite photos. Just to see what would happen. To my surprise, my photos reached 10,000 views. Then 20,000. Then 50,000.
